This site aims to provide information for educators about literacy related issues.

In addition we seek to make this site a useful resource and reference where ideas, strategies and classroom approaches can be shared by our visitors.

We welcome and encourage the sharing of thoughts and practical ideas to enhance the teaching of literacy in the primary school. It is our observation that many teachers are implementing a range of successful strategies and classroom approaches which engage students in meaningful, purposeful and fun learning. It is the sharing of these practices which will improve the quality of classroom interactions and heighten the enjoyment of learning for students more broadly.
