My Reading Program (Focussed Consult)

This after-school small-group session for primary teachers, is lead by a Literacy Solutions' Senior Consultant.

Overview

This small-group focussed session targets motivated teachers looking to improve or enhance their literacy and/or English programs. In this session teachers are offered the unique opportunity to attend a small group consult with a senior consultant. Participants are invited to bring questions or challenges to discuss with the expert. To ensure the session is tailored to the needs of those attending, the session is strictly limited to a maximum of 8 participants. Each participant will be provided an opportunity to direct one specific query or challenge relevant to their classroom or planning needs.

To maximise the benefit of this consult, participants should bring specific documentation or information related to their query. For example, queries related to data are best addressed if the teacher brings specific examples of classroom data such as running records or student work samples. General questions often require general, hypothetical advice. To ensure focussed consultancy support, please ensure evidence and documentation regarding your query is brought to the session.

Interested teachers are invited to submit an expression of interest and will be notified of successful registration within 7 days. As places are strictly limited, full payment is due within one week of notification of registration.

Expressions of interest can be emailed to info@literacysolutions.com.au. Please state the following details in your email:

• Your name
• Your name of your school
• Your email address
• Your teaching year level
• The location and date of the 'My Reading Program' session you wish to attend.
• Your School's phone number
• Your School's postal address

You will receive:

• tea/coffee on arrival, and afternoon tea
• a Literacy Solutions' classroom resource

Cost

$165 + GST (Places are strictly limited to a maximum of eight (8) so please register early.)
RSVP: Five (5) working days prior to workshop
