Teaching Literacy
(Strategies for the Expert Teacher)
Overview
Strategies for the Expert Teacher has been specifically developed to assist experienced teachers seeking more strategies to supplement their literacy programs and extend their students.
Students’ learning is deepened by opportunities to engage in reading, writing and talk around a variety of texts and across many different instructional contexts. Teacher expertise is critical in facilitating the instructional context and instructing, scaffolding and prompting students to develop greater levels of proficiency and independence across their learning.
"Angela, you constantly amaze me with your huge knowledge and you motivate me with your practical ideas. Your workshops are energising, thought-provoking, stimulating and I love them!"
