Mem Fox is an esteemed international author and educator. Mem's passion for teaching children to read and helping others to teach children to read is inspirational. My children love this site as they can listen to Mem's glorious readings of some favourite picture books (and I have to admit I love listening too). If you love reading, have children or have a strong social conscience you need to pay Mem a visit.

Teachers of Years 4-9 must visit myread for ideas, suggestions and insights provided by a team of Australian experts. My Read supports teachers of underperforming students, and aims to improve student outcomes in literacy. My Read was a winner in the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing and is a must visit for all teachers.
